Samsung is rumored to be updating its fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit, with a launch currently expected to be the Galaxy Fit 3. The new smart band will replace the Galaxy Fit 2, which was launched two years ago.
As per a recent Community Forum post, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Fit 3 at the end of this year. Although the exact launch time is still unknown, there is also some possibility that the company might delay the launch and shift it to early 2023. If the delay is confirmed, it might be introduced along with the Galaxy S23 series.
It's also been reported that the Galaxy Fit 3 will appear at an affordable price, and it might be estimated to cost around KRW 50,000 to match the price of the Galaxy Fit 2.
Other than that, not much is known about this new generation of Samsung smart bands. The Smart Band Fit 3 is expected to come with a bigger AMOLED screen, a bigger battery, and water resistance. Health features like the ability to track physical activity, sleep, and more. Just like the Fit 2, the Fit 3 also comes with reminders to wash your hands, manage stress levels, and more.
The Fit 3 is also expected to have additional features such as a heart rate sensor, a SpO2 monitor, and to further develop the function of the watch, and further improve the fitness modes, to compete with other brands.
